Standardizing Comments on Current Events -- An Analysis of All Comments in People's Daily on December 2, 2015

People's Daily has made great progress in recent years, among which the prominent point is the obvious increase of various comments. In the past, the comment articles in People's Daily were mainly from the comment department, and the most cadres were promoted from the comment department to the newspaper level. At present, comments are almost all over the editorial department or page, which is very helpful to help readers understand the news deeply, and also reflects the ideological characteristics of party organ. In this regard, popular newspapers need to learn from the People's Daily, and improve the current pattern of newspaper comments gathering within 2-3 pages, which has remained unchanged for more than a decade.
